The Calleva Arms is in Silchester, around five miles north of Basingstoke. It’s right on the border between Hampshire and Berkshire, near to the small town of Tadley. Here’s how to find us:
The village of Silchester is known for its Roman ruins, and makes a lovely place to explore before (or after) a hearty lunch at the pub. If you fancy a country walk instead, head for the Common or to the Pamber Forest. We’ve got leaflets detailing all the best walks in the region at the pub.
Don’t forget, too, that sports fans can enjoy cricket from the comfort of our garden on match days. The pub overlooks the village green, where cricketers take to the field in summer.
